Our story

Generations have gathered under the shade of our 800-year-old oak. From weary travelers to families on a Sunday outing, this spot has always been a sanctuary. Our parents laid the foundations here with 'Hájnikova žena' and 'Motorest Dub'. Decades have passed, but the draw remains the same: honest food and a quiet escape.

Now, the story continues through us—siblings Jakub and Barbora. In this very place we’ve known since childhood, under the oak tree where we grew up, we are honoring our roots while taking them forward—in our own unique way.

Hájovňa Dub stands on strong roots: genuine food, people who keep coming back, and a woodland setting where you can finally slow down. We are gradually reshaping the space, bringing fresh energy to the kitchen, and setting a clear path forward. Our goal is to create a place for everyone looking to rest their feet and eat well.
